White tea

White tea is a very mild tea, fresh and soft. It comes mostly from South East China. It is called white because of the light colour of its liquour, and because white tea of best qualities is made from unopened leaf buds that are covered with fine hairs and look a little silver or white.

White tea refreshes and gives you a little energy, at the same time cooling your body down. This makes it a perfect refreshment drink in summer.

Our selection of white teas ranges from a big leaf Bai Mu Dan with its somewhat broad taste and sommerfield aroma to exceptional teas made exclusively from leaf sprouts, including a real jewel for connoisseurs.

This tea from Nepal is a real rarity! Its dry leaves, quite big and unbroken, smell slightly of grapes and grapefruit, its infusion is very transparent and smells pleasantly of softly cooked trout.
